Phillip has over 40 years of experience in conveyancing, notarial and property-related work.

Phillip graduated from Rhodes University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws degree. Phillip did his articles with Bowman Gilfillan and was a Partner at Hofmeyr (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr) for almost 10 years.

Phillip joined Smit Jones & Pratt as a Director in 1996 and has headed the Conveyancing department since then.
